CORRUPTION
Corruption, now-a-days is at its highest peak spreading it’s tentacles in all the wings viz., Legislature, Executive, Judiciary and Press in India. Due to its unchecked raise the economy of the country and the middle and poor people are mostly affected.
If you go back to the good and olden days before Independence and a few years after Independence, History reveals that most of the people, prior to Independence irrespective of their religion, caste and creed willingly sacrificed their kith and kin and their inherited properties for the sake of our country and after attaining Independence also there used to be ethics and morals which have guided people to go in the right path.
But, unfortunately, money and power policies have raised their ugly heads which is the route cause in the deterioration of ethics, morals and values in the above said wings.
Lack of political will, personal compulsions, lack of speedy disposals and stringent actions on corrupted people are the bane of our Administrative system.
Let every Citizen try to minimize the corruption, if they can not totally eradicate it

VIEWS ON MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATIONS
I don’t have even a vague idea as to when from the Mother’s Day is being celebrated through out the World in general and in India in particular.
But one thing I am sure about that it is gaining importance slowly as the basic concept of celebrating the Day is to express one’s love and affection to the MOTHER.
Surely the idea of celebrating Mother’s Day is copied from the Western countries by India, showing respect to one’s Mother for the love, affection and devotion shown towards Children is the root essence and hence to be welcomed.
Recently there was a news item appeared in one of the Telugu News Channels showing a poor Woman having a months old baby, feeding milk to her child from one breast and to a lamb from the other breast at the same time.
Similarly most people across the World might have watched on TVs showing the motherly affection of few animals towards other rival animal pets.
Since the motherly love is not limited to only human beings, this universal love of a Mother should unquestionably be celebrated.
But the question arises that if such motherly love has to be reciprocated by their Children, should it be limited to a day in a whole year?
It may to some extent understandable with western countries where motherly, fatherly, brotherly & sisterly bonds are curtailed due to their social environment, but it is not the same in Asian countries in general and in India in particular where family bonds are deeper.
May I invite comments and views on the above subject from teenagers and elderly people.
